I shall pass this way
but once.
Therefore, any good
that I can do
or any kindness that
I can show
let me do it now.
For I shall not
pass this way again.

Operation: A Cajun Christmas was originally founded to help the evacuees from Hurricane Katrina who found themselves taken in by the kind people of Vermilion Parish. Incredibly, those who were giving to help others in need became victims themselves of an even more deadly and devastating storm, Hurricane Rita.

A Convoy of Compassion
filled with a Cajun Christmas

Over 7,000 children have received gifts, and many, many more donations are still coming in from all over the country. The devastation from both these hurricanes is unimaginable. Pictures and TV can not even begin to tell the story. All we hear again and again, is how thankful people are that someone cares. They are not forgotten.
