"Operation: A Cajun Christmas changed our lives. Our kids had a wonderful Christmas. Santa came after all." ONE FAMILY'S STORY >>

Operation: A Cajun Christmas rolled into Abbeville, Louisiana on December 16, 2005 and distributed gifts to more than 7,000 children. We, strangers from "up north," were welcomed into the community with unbelievable grace and compassion.

Operation: A Cajun Christmas is the first project of The Giving Circle, Inc, an ever-expanding community of people acting together to help make the workd a better place. We continue to support the Abbeville community. If you would like to donate:

  • May we suggest that you turn your funds into a gift card for Toys R Us, Target or Walmart, and send to:

    Abbeville Police Department
    101 N. State Street
    Abbeville , La. 70510
C/O Glenda "Mom Macie" Sellers / Operation:A Cajun Christmas

  • Or, you may donate a check payable to the Fran Plaisance Memorial Foundation:

The Francis J. "Fran" Plaisance Jr. Memorial Foundation has been established to help the Vermilion Parish Foster Children, as well as other needs for disadvantaged children. The hope of the foundation is that in the future a shelter for displaced children called "Fran's Place" can become a reality.

    More than toys..
Thanks to all YOUR generous donations, Cajun Christmas has delivered televisions, computers and other electronics to an Abbeville
area foster care, a local nursing home and a shelter for abused women, and the children's ward of a local hospital. The foster care home will also have a new playground built for them thanks to Jockey Shane Sellers & friends!

Thank you to all our volunteers & community organizers!
