A Cajun Christmas
letter updates Nov. 18
We have reached the top of the stretch
Everyone both outside and inside of Vermilion Parish are doing such a great job and working so hard for our friends in Vermilion Parish. We are so close now to bringing such joy to so many friends, and now we are ready to hit full stride and come home a huge winner.
Donations are really picking up at a great rate and now is the time as we approach the holidays to really reach out to others and help to see just how thankful our friends in La will be for their giving .
a week when I am tired and really stressed out about not raising enough
gifts or working out transportation down. Worry about time lines and deadlines
or letting people down. Just when my worries are just about to wear me
down, Mom Macie’s words in an e-mail early last week fill me again
with great energy. Mom Macie wrote:
The greatest gift you can receive this holiday is the feelings you will have Christmas day knowing just how much joy your hard work and compassion brought our friends in Vermilion Parish.
Look to get
drop boxes at any site where there will be holiday events, for local stores
it's a win win as people will buy items and drop them in our box.
